Death Of The American Dream:
Why So Many Feel Hopeless
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”.
I have the honor and privilege to wake up in a time machine every morning and walk through the annals of history.
I get to gaze upon the original documents and letters written by the hands of our Founding Fathers, Presidents, and Revolutionaries.
I am a practitioner of Patriotic Philanthropy.
I am a vanguard of the ideas that have been passed down for generations and upon which our great country was founded.
I do this because I have found that for the most part, we as a nation are historically illiterate.
History in school is treated as an unnecessary subject, on life support, waiting for the consensus of apathy to “pull the plug”.
We derive our power in the present and our hope for the future by reflection, and taking inventory of our past.
What is history if not the study of human nature?
The record of how we treat one another in both times of prosperity, as well as in times of famine.
A civilizations “reality” is based on how it feels about what it knows.
A “reality” that continues to allow its past to hold its future hostage by never learning from its history is impotent and will never plant the seeds of knowledge for a future to harvest.
Our Founding Fathers were not infallible gods without human imperfection.
They were not law-abiding citizens who were willing to passivistically give up their individual freedom in order to preserve the “communal good’’.
They were not the type to rely on government to solve the problems they felt were the responsibility of the individual.
They were not interested in a world that was “fair for all”.
On and shortly after July 4th, 1776 — 56 rebels committed treason, signed their death warrant and sent it special delivery – via first class, certified, overnight mail to their executioner – King George III.
They had literally pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to their Pursuit Of Happiness.
They knew their failure would mean not only the death of themselves and their families, but of generations to come.
Their victory however, would birth the greatest nation the world would ever know!!
The Constitution – and the government of which it formed – was set up to protect the Spoils of War!!!
The AMERICAN DREAM – the freedom for a man to transform himself and his property into any shape or form he desired as long as it did not impede the unalienable rights of others.
This DREAM has been the beacon of hope and desire for the brightest and best of the world’s citizenry.
Today however, many have found themselves feeling hopeless.
Between COVID-19 and the government vastly overextending its reach, many people have had their incomes – their main vehicle to the American Dream – stolen from them.
They have allowed themselves to be lured into a false sense of security and now find that their way of life, their homes – the vestige and refuge of the American Dream – their very existence is under attack by enemies both foreign and domestic.
Government cannot solve the problems from the same conscious from which it created them.
If the American Dream is to continue for us and future generations – WE MUST BE THE REVOLUTIONARIES!!
We, as entrepreneurs and investors, must stand up and fight to take back that which is rightfully ours!!!!
“He who is without vision is lost”!!!!!
We must “let our light so shine” so that others who have been blinded can see!!!
We must lead by example and invest our time, our resources, our ideas, and our finances to once again take OWNERSHIP of our economy.
When the Israelites saw Goliath they shirked and claimed he was so big that he could not be defeated.
When David saw Goliath he proclaimed “Goliath is so big I cannot miss” – as he picked up a stone and slew the giant!!!!
